Herman Upmann was a banker from Germany who so loved Cuban cigars that he moved to Havana in 1844 and set up as both banker and cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920’s but his cigars live on as a fine example of an elegant,light to medium flavoured Habano.

This is the first time a cigar of the Genios size has been produced outside of the Cohiba brand (Cohiba Genios – Maduro 5).

This latest release is part of the classic H. Upmann portfolio and, along with the Magnum 54, becomes one of the widest vitolas within the range. The Connoisseur A serves up all of the classic, well-balanced and time-honoured, light to medium bodied taste that has helped make H. Upmann such a favourite among aficionados and novices alike, ever since it was first launched back in 1844.
