2007 was a great year for the cigar crop and these cigars benefit from being harvested from this crop, a superb light to medium strength cigar with plenty of flavour.
The Hoyo de Monterrey Hermosos No.4 is the third release from the new AÑEJADOS or AGED concept from Habanos s.a: (Montecristo Churchill and Romeo & Julieta Piramides were the first in 2015).
The vitola new to the brand measuring 5″ (127mm) x 48 ring gauge and the cigars have been box aged for between 5 to 8 years.
Ageing the cigars gives them a mellower, more refined taste as the leaves blend together to give a mild but complex flavour.
The cigars are presented in dressed boxes of 25 and carry a second band to identify that they are A?EJADOS – aged cigars.
